About the Role

Position:AVP: Lead Developer

Role Summary:

Technology Lead Developer needed to assist in development efforts for team working on project development and maintenance activities. The candidate should have experience configuring, extending, and supporting the Finance systems (but not mandatory).

As lead developer, the candidate must have skills of application design, develop and maintain it. Must have development group experience in a leadership capacity assigning and managing work effort. Engages in the overall health of the systems, including system performance monitoring, maintenance, security, secure code practices, audit support and remediation, and DR collaboration. Technology liaison with business stakeholders collaborating with cross-functional teams. Thrives in a dynamic work environment with demonstrated ability to adapt to change. Whether balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders or supporting more senior staff on complex projects, you use data and analysis and apply your experience, judgment, and risk mindset across your responsibilities.

The candidate should also have development experience with industry leading programming languages like Java, J2ee, Spring boot with Microservices, Spring Batch/Boot and JMS and Object-Oriented Programming Concepts, Database Programming using SQL and PL/SQL, including developing stored procedures, database triggers and database packages. A willingness to work in a fluid environment with high adaptability to change is a must for this position. The candidate should also be able to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams with direction from senior management. Solid verbal and written communication skills are required for this position.

Responsibilities for This Role:

• Support systems that integrate with existing enterprise applications; determine the infrastructure approach to meet the new and emerging enterprise requirements
• Perform system design and analysis; develop code to ensure successful and seamless communication among the various IT systems, business users and application components.
• Work with business and technology stakeholders to design operational frameworks that provide required information, functionality, and complies with internal development guidelines Perform systems design and analysis; develop code to ensure successful and seamless communication among the various IT systems, users and applications components.
• Prepare and present technical concepts to internal audiences.
• Work with functional team to define the technology framework which defines, develops, and implements delivery systems

Role Qualifications (Skills, Previous Roles):

• Strong experience with server-side programming, language agnostic
• Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and databases
• Full life-cycle development in any financial project
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis to maintain

transparency on work efforts and to ensure design and implementation is understood by all team participants

• Must possess organizational, problem-solving skills and time management skills and be able to meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communicator, able to adapt delivery style and language to suit the audience.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of software development experience. Experience Range: 8-12 year
• 8+ years of programming experience in a modern language such as Java, J2ee, Spring boot with Microservices, Spring Batch and JMS.
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles with experience in popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux) and Restful APIs.
• Solid Object-oriented programming skills and excellent knowledge of analysis and design patterns
• Good Analysis and problem solving
• Front-end :HTML, CSS, Javascript, React.js, Bootstrap
• Back-end : Java, Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate & JPA, SOAP/REST, Microservices, SQL

Secondary skills:

• Having an experience in CICD, static and dynamic code analyzer tool.
• Having container and cloud experience.
