We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of : Software Engineer

Location:Hyderabad/Bangalore/Pune

In this role, you will (Key responsibilities)

• Collaborate with product managers and business analysts for understanding, refining and estimating the functional requirements of the system captured in user stories.
• Collaborate with architects for defining and validating the architecture and the software design of the components and modules that must be implemented on the platform.
• Design and implement components and feature of the web UI using various front-end technologies, languages and frameworks.
• Define together with the back-end engineers the REST APIs for the features of the services being built and implement the processing of the API related data.
• Write unit tests and work with QA engineers for defining end-to-end test cases and helping with the automated testing for the system.
• Collaborate with the UX team for understanding and refining the UI visual design and the user experience of the features built.
• Collaborate with all the team members by using an agile process with related practices and tools.
• Driving and supporting Technology teams to manage delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications and budgets, ensuring adherence to standard controls (e.g. TDAs).
• Establish Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery as the foundation for the successful technology product delivery that is global, scalable and of great performance.
• Delivers solutions which supports and aligns to HSBC\xe2\x80\x99s strategic visions and roadmaps.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Preferably 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline
• Experience designing and developing user interfaces for software products.
• Strong work experience with programming languages Java, .Net, Python
• Experience building responsive and reusable UI/UX components using JavaScript and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Amber etc.)
• Experience working with visual designs, design systems, and prototypes (Figma, Invision, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of web standards including HTML, CSS/SASS, and Accessibility
• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON data.
• Familiar with database technology such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle
• Comfortable multi-tasking and working as part of a global team, as well as working independently and taking ownership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experience with cloud-hosting solutions and CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Travis, etc.
• Good Understanding /experience with Cloud or a similar service e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP etc.
