Job Overview

We are seeking a Java Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in developing robust and efficient Java-based applications. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. As a Java Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Java applications that meet business requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to understand business requirements and technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring that the code meets quality standards and is aligned with project goals.
• Work with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) to design and implement data models and queries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs in existing applications.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance functionality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and development trends to bring innovative solutions to the team.
• Ensure application security and compliance with industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Java development.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Java (Core Java, Java 8+ features).
• Familiarity with popular frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.
• Experience with RESTful web services and APIs.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL) and ORM tools (e.g., Hibernate, JPA).
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture is an advantage.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
