Description and RequirementsDesign, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java applications.Implement and manage Microservices architecture.Develop and consume RESTful and SOAP web services.Integrate and manage Kafka for real-time data processing and messaging.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.Additional Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development.Experience of writing java code with spring boot framework.Proficiency in Java 8 and Spring Boot framework.Strong experience with Microservices architecture.Extensive experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.Good knowledge of Kafka framework and hands-on experience for writing Kafka consumers and producerGood experience in Docker/ Kubernetes.Good knowledge of the Kafka framework and hands-on experience for writing Kafka consumers and producers would be highly preferred.Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.EEO StatementAt TELUS International, we enable customer experience innovation through spirited teamwork, agile thinking, and a caring culture that puts customers first.
