We leverage FIL-approved technologies to automate workflow, standardize process and reduce risk. Our team owns the design, implementation and support for all our solutions - our autonomy is a key differentiator. Solutions Office capabilities include: Digitization for intake, data integration, document generation and automating integration with back office systems. We work in an agile environment and are driven by Fidelity leadership principles of being customer obsessed and strive for pace over perfection.Purpose of the RoleThe Java Developer within WI Solutions Office builds custom light weight solutions using java stack. Working in an agile environment, the java developer interprets customers\xe2\x80\x99 need and designs/builds tool that solve business challenges.Key Responsibilities

• Analyse user requirements and translate into Java
• Assist in solution design
• Code services that connect the applications
• Build business logics
• Ensure high coding standard
• Debug and resolve technical issues
• Create unit tests
• Provide level 2 support as necessary

Experience and Qualifications RequiredTechnical Skills:

• Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, SpringBoot
• Proficiency in Web Services (REST)
• Proficiency in ORM Framework (myBatis/Hibernate)
• Proficiency in Multithreading and Java design patterns
• SQL proficiency, working with different databases
• Experience in Unix and Shell scripting basics
• Experience Unit Testing
• Experience in Build Technologies (Maven)
• Experience in Version Control System (Git)
• Experience in AWS Cloud services
• Experience in development and deployment with Docker
• Exposure to ReactJS would be advantageous
