You will be part of IQVIAs world class technology team and will be involved in design, development, enhanced software programs or cloud applications or proprietary productsResponsibilities

• Design, develop, and test dashboard reports using Java, SQL, Groovy, Hibernate and Java script framework.
• Translate functional specification into technical design.
• Write high quality, efficient code using industrial best practices.
• Creates user interfaces in HTML (Bootstrap, GSP) for report or dashboard filter.
• Generate reports in HTML, CSV, XLS and other data formats.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and other developers to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues and performance problems.
• Communicate and reports on progress and issues with the Project Lead.
• Provides input on the establishment of development best practices and standards for the organization.
• Research and evaluate new data technologies and best practices.
• Supports and mentors Junior software engineers on standards of engineering quality through source control, code reviews, continuous integration, and unit tests

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• Highly skilled in Object oriented programming with 4 to 6 years of experience in Java, J2EE, Hibernate.
• Strong database skills writing complex and optimized queries using MySQL or any other relational database.
• Knowledge of Groovy and GSP is added advantage.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI is added advantage.
• Experience with cloud platforms preferably in AWS.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
