Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Consultant / Engineer to design, develop, and deliver innovative Java-based microservices and solutions that address complex business challenges. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java development, cloud technologies, containerization, and event processing, with a passion for building high-performance, scalable systems.

Preferred:

Experience in the telecommunications domain.

Familiarity with SSPP frameworks or platforms used in CSP environments.

Certifications in Java, cloud platforms, or Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Java-based microservice solutions to address business challenges.

Develop, test, and refine Java services for high performance and reliability.

Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of microservices.

Implement Apache Kafka or other event processing frameworks for real-time data handling.

Collaborate with product, content, and data teams to align development efforts with business goals.

Continuously improve code quality, performance, and the software development process.

Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.

Stay updated with advancements in Java, Docker, Kubernetes, and event processing technologies.

Deliver production-grade, scalable Java services using automated, repeatable processes.

Take ownership of key architecture decisions throughout the software lifecycle: build, test, deploy, and monitor.

Leverage best practices, tools, and cloud solutions to improve development efficiency.

Requirements & Skills:

4+ years of experience in Java development of services and/or applications.

3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, GCP or Azure acceptable).

Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

Experience with event processing frameworks like Apache Kafka.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experience in software fine-tuning and integrating with complex service flows.

Expertise in unit testing, secure coding practices, and functional testing.

Familiarity with open-source frameworks such as Log4J, JWT, REST.

Experience in production software release cycles and automated testing.

Relevant training/certifications in computer science, software development, or related fields.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
