:Job Title: Java Architect, VPLocation: Pune, IndiaRole DescriptionFIC Operations Technology within the Investment Banking Division of Deutsche Bank is responsible for building and managing the Documentation & Settlement applications to support Operations Division in managing the trade lifecycle across Interest Rates, Credit, Equities (OTC Derivatives), Foreign Exchange & Money Market businesses.As part of FIC Re-engineering program, our group is building cross-asset Documentation (DICE) and Settlement (CSE) platforms.A Lead Engineer at leadership level will have extensive experience of many, varying engineering implementations, and through this has become an expert in an at least one area of engineering; acting as a "go to" reference across the organisation. They may take functional (not resource management) oversight of engineering delivery for a department, continuously reviewing designs and quality and driving re-use. They will play a role in improving engineering capability in their area through recruitment and development activities. Your key responsibilities
  • Analysis, design and development of CSE system components along with functional and development team
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications by implementing planned engineering changes as part of agile feature team
  • Implement and comply with bank policies (naming conventions, encryption, security settings, capacity, availability and other non-functional requirements)
  • Design, implementation, execution and results analysis of automated unit, integration, regression, resilience and performance tests
  • Code reviews based on the four-eye principle
  • Level-3 technical support as well as problem and root cause analysis
Your skills and experience
  • 15+ total experience with at least 12+ hands-on development in Java based technologies, Micro-services architecture, CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience in designing & developing several applications and able to mentor experienced staff and grads
  • Experience in handling a few end-to-end software delivery and maintenance phases including SL3 issues for systems with multiple technologies, architectures including heterogenous / distributed systems
  • Proficient on architectural patterns, able to design / develop on his own, mentor the team mates
  • Proficient with middleware technologies and a broad range of tools / technologies used during SDLC
  • Open to take challenges and work on a fast-paced work environment
  • Hands-on to build POCs
  • Awareness about regulatory compliant practices in a banking organization
  • Stakeholder management, extremely organized to ensure decisions are made on timely manner to avoid roadblocks
  • Can foresee issues and comes up with approaches to solve the problem
  • Able to communicate his ideas and concerns clearly to ensure good co-ordination amongst different parties involved at the horizontal
  • Ability to build a consensus amongst stakeholders, dev leads, operations
  • B.Tech/BE or M.Tech/ME/MCA/M.Sc. preferably in Computer-Science
Essential skills (Must to Have)
  • Java 8, Spring/Springboot, Hibernate, REST APIs, Junit, Oracle/SQL/ PL SQL, Linux, Shell Script, JMS, MQ
  • Architecture Design Patterns for Java based application, Microservices and API
  • Hybrid Cloud strategy
  • Jira, Confluence, Git, Maven, Teamcity/Jenkins, Artifactory
  • Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment
  • Strong analytical and design skills
  • Well versed with DevOps CI/CD concepts and implementation
  • Experience with TDD, BDD methodology
  • Proficient communication skills (written/verbal)
Desired skills (Good to Have)
  • Angular, HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS
  • Event based frameworks, Apache camel, Kafka, NoSQL (PostgreS , couchbase, cassandra, Oracle NoSQL), Public cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift
  • Knowledge and Experience of working on Post Trade platforms including the following, will be an added advantage:
  • Settlements workflows - Payments Initiation, Settlement / SSI platforms, Generation of SWIFT message
  • Confirmation workflows - Confirmation generation both SWIFT & Paper
  • Accounting workflow - Posting generation, publishing to GL systems
