An Ivanti Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the Ivanti environment, which is a unified IT endpoint management platform. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the security, efficiency, and overall health of an organization's IT infrastructure. Responsibilities: -User and Role Management: Create and manage user accounts and access permissions within the Ivanti console. Define administrative roles with specific access levels to delegate control effectively. -System Configuration: Configure and maintain various Ivanti products, such as Ivanti Neurons for ITSM, Workspace Control, or Ivanti Automation. Manage system settings, configurations, and integrations with other IT systems. -Security Management: Implement security policies and procedures within the Ivanti environment. Monitor and analyze security logs to identify and address potential security threats. -Patch Management: (For some Ivanti products) Manage the deployment of software patches to ensure all devices are up-to-date and secure. Monitor the patching process and troubleshoot any issues. -Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports on system health, user activity, and other relevant data. Analyze reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. -Incident Management: Troubleshoot technical issues and incidents related to the Ivanti environment. Escalate critical issues to the appropriate teams. -Staying Up-to-Date: Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest Ivanti features and functionalities. -Solid understanding of IT infrastructure management principles. -Experience with IT service management (ITSM) methodologies is a plus. -Working knowledge of Active Directory or LDAP is beneficial. -Experience administering endpoint management solutions (preferably Ivanti). -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Additional Skills (depending on the specific Ivanti product)
