About the Role:


You will be working in a cross-functional team, using agile methodologies to build applications/services for the financial services industry. You will contribute to overall CICD and ensure quality is maintained through early and frequent use of automated testing.


Job Duties in Brief :


• Participate and contribute on all team activities such as sprint planning, daily scrums and retrospectives
• Plan, create and execute test cases applicable to user stories
• Build and execute automated system and performance tests for APIs and web applications
• Work closely with other engineers and product owners to define testing needs
• Automate and scale test execution and analysis in AWS as well as in-house data centre.
• Help determine and then ensure agreed up test metrics are met
• Perform reviews and ensure the quality of the team's work
• Be comfortable with different testing tool frameworks and different languages needed to code for them. This includes NodeJS, JAVA, Python

About You:


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in test automation & testing
• 2-3 years of experience working with RESTful web services
• 2+ years of experience testing in an agile cross-functional team
• 2+ years of experience with automated acceptance testing
• 2+ years of experience working with Node, JAVA
• 2+ years working with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo
• Experience with Selenium based test automation frameworks such as WebDriver IO
• Experience with Playwright (Node.js) test automation framework
• Comfortable creating test frameworks for websites or backend services
• Proficiency in programming in languages such as JavaScript and Python. JAVA is a plus.
• 2+ year experience running performance tests to capture run times for application end-points
• Experience with source code management tools, GIT or Code Commit preferred
• Overall experience with REST, messaging and relational databases
• Must be self-motivated and driven, with demonstrated knowledge and skills in: Creativity, technical analysis, problem solving, communication and client service.
• Knowledge of financial industry is highly desirable
