Purpose of the role

The purpose of this role to manage purchase and logistics for ITQ function for GEMs region & NAR. Role requires high level of internal and external collaborations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The primary job will include releasing purchase orders, processing invoices, yearly capital and operational expense usage, tracking and closure before fiscal deadlines, inventory management for MTC, managing import & export (ambient and frozen). Person needs to interact on regular basis with external vendors/suppliers, and internally collaborate with finance/accounting function.

Monthly and yearly finance provisioning for Capex and Opex. Monthly advance settlement report building to finance.

Submission for Capex requests for necessary approval as per the authority matrix.

Work with vendor/suppliers on invoicing issues and drive resolution for clearing invoices on hold with accounts payable.

Work with internal team to ensure invoice are being submitted within due dates per supplier.

Work with internal team to drive process improvements.

The person should have good communication skills, including writing. Person should be quick learner on internal processes, e.g., doc routing, mfg-Pro, QAD, etc.

Person should be well versed with using Microsoft office tools \xe2\x80\x93 e.g., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education \xe2\x80\x93 Full Time graduation in commerce from an accredited university (Mandatory). Graduation from technology, engineering or any other field cab be considered if you hold knowledge & work experience in logistics and purchase.

The person should have at least 3 years of full-time job experience in managing logistics and purchase for a center or plant.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Full time or part time MBA in supply chain management
