About the role
A Data Product Manager, also known as Data Architect, plays a crucial role in designing data products infrastructure to extract, organize, and manage data for authorized individuals within an organization. They collaborate with department heads, business users, analyze data available and create and maintain data models. If youre passionate about data modeling, database design, and you know what Data Mesh concept and FAIR principle are, this role might be a great fit for you!
Your responsibilities
Identify Core Data Elements & Entities.
Be responsible for data products architecture: create and design every aspect of a database, including conceptual and logical data models.
Understand, document, and maintain the data lineage for given data products in scope.
Be the F.A.I.R. Guardian - ensure that data is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable
Identify areas for improvement in current data products.
Identify data duplication between existing data platforms and design new data models to deduplicate datasets.
Make sure that the data products are properly catalogued and follow the definition of done principles.
Collaborate with other Data Product Managers to work on the cross-domain data sharing, identify the needs of other products and make sure data contracts are in place.
Keep the confidential data secure by identifying the security rules & requirements and working with Solution Architecture Team on implementing them.
Be part of a Data Governance chapter and collaborate with the larger team within the Data and Analytics department.
The experience we're looking for
With 9+ years of experience with 4-6 years working with Data Business analysis or Data & Analytics products
Data management skills
Experience with Microsoft Azure tech stack
Superior analytical skills and attention to detail.
Creative problem-solving abilities and unconstrained thinking approach.
