Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef specializing in Neapolitan pizza and Italian cuisine to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating authentic Italian dishes with a focus on Neapolitan pizza, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and quality. Your passion for Italian culinary traditions and your expertise in pizza-making techniques will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Responsibilities:
• Menu Development: Create and innovate Neapolitan pizza recipes and other Italian dishes, ensuring a diverse and appealing menu that showcases authentic flavors and ingredients.
• Food Preparation and Cooking: Execute traditional and contemporary Italian cooking techniques with precision and creativity, including dough preparation, sauce-making, and pizza baking in a wood-fired oven.
• Quality Control: Maintain strict quality control measures to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of fresh ingredients and kitchen supplies to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to enhance culinary skills and teamwork.
• Adherence to Health and Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
