Job Position - IT Trainer

Key Responsibilities :
Training Delivery :
• Conduct IT-related training sessions as per the prescribed curriculum under DDU-GKY guidelines.
• Develop and deliver lessons on topics such as basic computer skills, MS Office, hardware & networking, digital tools, and other IT-related modules.
• Use interactive teaching methods to ensure effective learning outcomes.
Curriculum Adherence :
• Follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and syllabus provided by the DDU-GKY program.
• Customize teaching techniques to suit diverse learner needs while aligning with program objectives.
Assessment and Evaluation :
• Conduct periodic assessments and maintain records of student progress.
• Prepare learners for certification exams through mock tests and practice sessions.
Documentation and Reporting :
• Maintain detailed records of attendance, performance, and feedback.
• Submit periodic reports to the center coordinator and program management team.
Classroom Management :
• Manage classroom dynamics and maintain discipline.
• Create a conducive learning environment for rural youth.
Skill Enhancement :
• Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies.
• Upgrade personal skills to align with the industry standards and program requirements.
Student Engagement :
• Motivate and guide students toward employment or entrepreneurship.
• Conduct soft skills and job-readiness sessions along with technical training.
Coordination :
• Collaborate with placement teams to align training with industry demands.
• Work closely with the project manager and other trainers to ensure smooth program execution.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Certifications in relevant IT areas (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, Tally, etc.) are an added advantage.
Experience:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in teaching IT/computer science.
• Experience in skill development programs like DDU-GKY is preferred.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Office, basic hardware, networking, and common software tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to teach in English and local languages (as applicable).
Behavioral Traits:
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability to train rural youth.
• Good problem-solving and classroom management abilities.
Additional Requirements:
• Willingness to travel within the project area, if needed.
• Familiarity with NSQF (National Skills Qualifications Framework) and SSC (Sector Skill Council) guidelines.
