### Job Title: Laptop and Software Support Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Laptop and Software Support Technician to manage and maintain our laptop fleet and ensure that all software applications are functioning effectively. This onsite role is essential for providing support to our team members and enhancing overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Laptop Management: Set up, configure, and maintain laptops for employees, ensuring all hardware is functioning properly.

- Software Installation and Support: Install, update, and troubleshoot software applications; ensure all software is compliant and licensed.

- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to staff regarding hardware and software issues via help desk or in-person support.

- Inventory Management: Keep track of laptop and software inventory; assist in purchasing and procurement as needed.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of laptop configurations, software licenses, and support requests.

- Training: Assist employees with basic software training and troubleshooting best practices.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in IT support or a related role.

- Strong understanding of laptop hardware and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, antivirus software).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus.
