SAS Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Team is a service organization responsible for providing IT support for our full spectrum of SAS Solutions to Infrastructure & Platform Services. Additionally, the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) team works with other SAS IT teams to improve our service catalog offerings to our customers including helping to implement next generation technologies. As an Engineer in the SAS Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) team, you will use your communication and technical skills to support internal and external customers in our hosted & internal environment. You will help design, implement, and support a large heterogeneous computing environment. You will be responsible for helping to maintain Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements, and improve the performance, reliability, and standardization of our hosted & internal solutions.

This position is to provide a dedicated ServiceNow developer in Pune to support the IaaS Hosting Catalog in ServiceNow. The IaaS Hosting Catalog is the mechanism by which the delivery team receives and responds to hosting customer requests. An additional dedicated resource would increase the velocity with which we can update the catalog, including incorporating new automation, improving efficiency for the team.


Experience:
5-7 Years

Responsibilities would include:

• To engage with IaaS Delivery, Engineering, and Operations teams to incorporate new service items into the IaaS Hosting Catalog in ServiceNow.
• To support the IaaS ServiceNow catalog, including development of new catalog items, orchestration activities, workflows, and sub flows.
• To design ServiceNow-based solutions to meet business requirements.
• To collaborate with IaaS automation teams to incorporate API calls and other integrations into ServiceNow workflows.
• To improve our service catalog/service offerings

Technology/Vendor experience:

• ServiceNow Developer (ServiceNow certification preferred)
• Azure
• AWS
• APIs / Integrations
• JavaScript
• HTML

Preferences

• Collaborative team experience with superior problem-solving skills
• Ability to triage requests with multiple admin resource groups
• Understanding best practices
• Experience with infrastructure architecture including Servers, Network, Security, Storage and Backup Services to allow for efficient implementation and non-disruptive expansion and upgrades
