Roles and Responsibilities
L1 Desktop/Laptop, Printer & other accessories Hardware Support, troubleshooting & repairing.
Knowledge in troubleshooting, Printer repairing, LAN networking cabling and troubleshooting etc.
3+ years of experience in system administration, Application Support, Desktop support.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Software support with respect to re-loading of Software, configuration of peripherals, protection from virus, support for data recovery etc and its installation as and when required.
Need to update entries in the System Status Register with the information consisting of nature of fault , brief details of the problem , Spare Parts provided , Call Registrations date and time , the call attended date and time, call close date and time.
Comprehensive maintenance support on all the IT assets covered.
Centralized IT helpdesk management.
End user IT related problem solving, troubleshooting and escalation.
Antivirus client installation and troubleshooting.
End user data backup and restoration services.
IT hardware and software asset management.
IP phone configuration, troubleshooting and management.
Incident tracking and management.
Laptop/desktop OS installation, vulnerability assessment, patch management and troubleshooting.
Facilitating and helping the user in meetings, conferencing and workshops.
Support to end users on audio and video related operations.
End user side UPS management and site UPS management.
Desktop printers, Scanners and network printer management.
CCTV troubleshooting and management.
Network Management (LAN, WIFI, Switches, ILL, broadband, 4G and other connections).
Application support management which includes installation, uninstallation, patch updates and maintenance of software compliance.
End user mail client installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
Escalate issues pertaining to suppliers non-performance or delays.
Notify the users with progress status of all queries, incidents, service requests, and complaints.
Joining the machines to domain.
Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly checklist and reports.
Complaint raising with service providers, follow up and escalation whenever required.
Preparing root cause analysis.
Management of IP address of all IT equipment.
Periodic preventive maintenance of all IT hardware.
Desired Candidate Profile
In addition to possessing good communication skills, being self-motivated, focused on delivery and paying attention to detail, the candidate should have excellent knowledge and experience in the following technologies/areas:.
Excellent Knowledge on Hardware and OS Skills - Windows,MAC,Linux
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Ability to troubleshoot network issues - LAN and Wireless.
Information Systems Degree or related field or equivalent work experience.
Self-reliance, ability to assert yourself and to work well in a team.
In this role you will provide operational support for various systems.
