We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated IT Support Trainee to join our growing IT team. As an IT Support Trainee, you will assist in providing technical support to staff, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and learn hands-on about various IT systems and tools. Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Assist with the setup and configuration of computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and update software applications.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Assist in maintaining and updating IT inventory records.
Support in monitoring system performance and ensuring security measures are in place.
Assist with regular backups and data recovery procedures.
Perform routine system checks and report issues to senior IT staff.
Learn about and support IT infrastructure and security best practices.
Document technical issues and resolutions for knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
Good understanding of networking concepts (e.g., IP addresses, DNS, routers).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and grow within the IT support field.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of office productivity tools (MS Office, Google Workspace, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience or internship in IT support or technical roles (a plus but not required).
Experience with ticketing systems or remote troubleshooting tools (desirable).
Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and other enterprise tools (helpful).
Training and Development:
On-the-job training in IT support and troubleshooting.
Exposure to various IT systems, software, and hardware.
