Job Summary:
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to employees and clients, ensuring smooth and efficient operations of IT systems. The role includes diagnosing hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and providing guidance on technology-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions in a timely manner.
• System Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• User Account Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with company policies.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor IT systems, networks, and servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Incident Management: Document and track incidents, problems, and resolutions using the company's IT service management system.
• Training and Guidance: Provide training and support to end-users on hardware, software, and IT procedures.
• Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware, software, and other IT assets.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security protocols and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members, departments, and external vendors to resolve complex issues and implement new technologies.
