Window Sever

Location: Sector 83, Mohali

Responsibilities:

Updating the server's hardware firmware when the latest version of firmware is available. Implementation of new Group Policies to enhance Organization-wide IT infrastructure security baseline. Creating new users and security groups as per client requirements. Creating new file shares as per the client's requirements. Creating Group Policies to map newly created file shares to their designated users only. Create Group Policies to fix organizations wide issues impacting production to save time and improve IT infrastructure. Release windows Updates from WSUS to the Test server group and then install and monitoring of servers for 1 week, and then releaseinstall windows updates to production servers to minimize the impact of new windows updates. Performing windows server's updates installation as soon as new updates available and scheduling reboots in off-hours and validation after reboot. Taking server's backup at cloud and locally attached external drives with Acronis backup tool. Releasing windows updates for client computers from WSUS to Test Computers Groups and Productions Computers groups to minimize any impact from new windows updates. Monitoring server alerts generated by the LogMeIn tool. Monitoring disk space alerts as scheduled daily, creating space if any space crunch is shown in disk space reports. Auto clean-up scripts are in place to clean up windows security logs more than the
