Key Responsibilities



IT support Intern will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues. Here are some basic probes and responsibilities


Incident Logging and Management

:


Log incidents: Record all details of the issue reported by the user. Categorize and prioritize: Determine the severity and urgency of the issue.

Basic Troubleshooting

:


Check connectivity: Ensure all physical connections are secure and network settings are correct. Verify user credentials: Confirm that the user is using the correct username and password. Restart systems: Ask the user to reboot their device or application.

Guiding Users

:


Password resets: Assist users in resetting their passwords. Software installation: Provide guidance on installing or updating software. Basic configuration: Help users configure settings for applications or devices.

Escalation

:


Identify complex issues: Recognize when an issue is beyond basic troubleshooting. Escalate to higher levels: Forward the issue to L2 or L3 support if necessary.

Communication

:


Clear instructions: Provide step-by-step guidance in a user-friendly manner. Empathy and patience: Handle frustrated users with calmness and understanding.

Documentation

:


Update knowledge base: Document common issues and solutions for future reference. Report recurring problems: Identify patterns in issues to prevent future occurrences.

We are looking for



We are seeking a motivated IT Intern to assist our IT team with day-to-day operations, including troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining network infrastructure, supporting software deployments, and learning about emerging technologies.


Required qualifications:


Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of computer hardware and software principles. Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
