We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Executive to join our dynamic team and help maintain our high standards of technological support and customer service.Job Overview:
The IT Support Executive will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users within the organization. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up new equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels of technical proficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support:
  • Provide first-line support for IT-related queries and issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Assist users with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment, and software.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, identify blind spots and maintenance of the same.
System Maintenance:
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure the health and security of systems.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in various systems.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems, cctv systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
Incident Management:
  • Record and manage incidents and service requests in the IT helpdesk system.
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff or external vendors as necessary.
User Training and Support:
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on new technologies and software applications.
  • Develop and maintain user guides and documentation.
  • Provide advice and guidance to users on IT best practices and security.
Project Participation:
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives, providing technical input and support.
  • Assist with the implementation of new technologies and systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the implementation of security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Conduct regular audits and updates to maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Asset Management:
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Manage the lifecycle of hardware and software assets, including procurement, deployment, and disposal.
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an IT support role.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and support.
  • Knowledge of office productivity software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles and practices.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users clearly and effectively.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • Office environment with occasional requirements to work outside regular business hours.
  • May require lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
