Job Overview: The IT Support Executive will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users within the organization. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up new equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels of technical proficiency. Key Responsibilities Technical Support:
Provide first-line support for IT-related queries and issues.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
Assist users with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment, and software.
Monitor CCTV cameras, identify blind spots and maintenance of the same.
System Maintenance:
Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure the health and security of systems.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in various systems.
Monitor and maintain computer systems, cctv systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
Incident Management:
Record and manage incidents and service requests in the IT helpdesk system.
Ensure timely resolution of issues in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff or external vendors as necessary.
User Training and Support:
Conduct training sessions for end-users on new technologies and software applications.
Develop and maintain user guides and documentation.
Provide advice and guidance to users on IT best practices and security.
Project Participation:
Participate in IT projects and initiatives, providing technical input and support.
Assist with the implementation of new technologies and systems.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures.
Assist with the implementation of security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Conduct regular audits and updates to maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Asset Management:
Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
Manage the lifecycle of hardware and software assets, including procurement, deployment, and disposal.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an IT support role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Windows and Mac operating systems.
Experience with network troubleshooting and support.
Knowledge of office productivity software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles and practices.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users clearly and effectively.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
