Job Overview :

• We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Network Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in network management, with expertise in CCNA, DHCP, DNS, IP, network protocols, and NOC (Network Operations Center) support. The Network Support Engineer will be responsible for ensuring seamless and efficient network operations, resolving network issues, and providing technical support to ensure a reliable and secure network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Configuration & Troubleshooting :
• Configure and maintain networking equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• CCNA Expertise :
• Manage and configure networking devices in line with CCNA standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN).
• Network Protocols :
• Understand and work with various networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, and DNS.
• Configure, monitor, and support networking protocols for effective communication within the organization's infrastructure.
• DHCP and DNS Management :
• Administer and manage DHCP servers for dynamic IP address allocation.
• Manage DNS servers, ensuring proper name resolution services for the network.
• NOC Operations :
• Monitor network performance and health through NOC tools and systems.
• Respond to network-related alerts, investigate performance degradation, and perform timely resolutions.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or other relevant teams when required.
• Documentation & Reporting :
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of network configurations, issues, and resolutions.
• Prepare network performance reports and document troubleshooting processes.
• Collaboration :
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure network security, availability, and performance.
• Provide technical support for network-related queries and issues raised by internal teams.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with network automation tools.
• Knowledge of additional certifications like CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with VLANs, VPNs, and other advanced networking concepts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
