About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized IT Support Coordinator to join our team and provide exceptional technical support for our Laboratory. You will be the primary point of contact for software, hardware, and network connectivity issues, working closely with laboratory personnel and the IT department to ensure smooth system operation and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
• Act as the first line of defense for LIMS-related technical support inquiries.
• Effectively triage, prioritize, and troubleshoot LIMS software, hardware, and network connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with the IT department to resolve complex issues and escalate problems as needed.
• Provide clear and concise guidance to end-users on navigating and utilizing the LIMS system effectively.
• Document solutions, procedures, and frequently asked questions (FAQs) to facilitate knowledge sharing and efficient support.
• Participate in testing and validation of software patches, upgrades, and new LIMS functionalities.
• Maintain system documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify recurring issues and propose solutions or enhancements for improved system stability and user experience.
• Assist with user account management and access control.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (IT, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent experience.
