Job Title: IT Software Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Software Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing software applications, ensuring their efficient operation, troubleshooting issues, and providing valuable input for improvements. Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring the cyber security of the organization's software systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in project management, software installation, coding, software development, and cyber security practices.

PMP certification is highly appreciable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coding & Development : Write, test, and deploy custom code to develop software solutions or automate processes.
• Software Installation & Configuration : Install, configure, and deploy software applications for users, ensuring they meet organizational requirements and stay updated.
• System Support & Troubleshooting : Provide expert technical support for software-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and resolve them promptly.
• Software Maintenance : Regularly update and patch software to maintain functionality, security, and performance.
• Software Evaluation & Recommendations : Stay informed about emerging technologies, assess new software solutions, and recommend tools that can improve business operations.
• Compliance & Security : Ensure all software applications comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity standards. Implement security best practices to safeguard systems from potential threats.
• Cybersecurity Management : Regularly monitor and assess software applications for vulnerabilities. Implement and maintain security measures such as encryption, access controls, and firewalls to protect against cyber threats.
• Risk Management & Reporting : Identify risks related to software systems and cyber security, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate project status and security concerns to key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• B. Tech in Computer Science from reputed institutes.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in software support and software development.
• Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing software and system-related issues.

Expertise in software development languages (e.g., Java, C#, C++)
