Business DivisionsGroup FunctionsYour roleDo you have great depth in technical knowledge as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in IT and Business? Do you have a proven track record of managing application development, cloud migrations with hands on Agile Software delivery experience? Do you have experience of building and supporting large digital platforms involving cloud native, vendor integrations, APIs, event driver micro services, reporting, and analytics? If so, you are the right person for this role. We are seeking technology and domain leaders to join our development team within Firmwide Risk IT. We are looking someone who can:

• maintain and improve existing niche IT solutions, being able to learn quickly specific niche frameworks & accordingly work on migrating such solutions to cloud platform
• ensure the team has a clear architecture and technical direction
• provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new requirements and initiatives to enhance our existing products & cloud development
• lead the development and delivery of solutions on new Azure Cloud platform using Scala, Java, Python, React, Spark, SQL technologies relevant for US regulatory requirements like Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR)
• cloud Platform Management and Administration with focus on operational excellence and cost optimization

Ready to be part of #teamUBS and make an impact?Your teamYou will be part of the Scenario Hub group within the Firmwide Risk IT Platform in UBS.The Firmwide Risk IT team is a group of elite and pioneering software engineering professionals who bring modern computer science and IT platform management to our stakeholders across the bank.We implement common reusable solutions to ensure the risk management runs on the most optimal and scalable framework. We use niche solutions, and we are expanding towards in-house built solutions to ensure the UBS Risk Management and Control remains competitive and ahead of our peers.Your expertise

• strong technical knowledge across both software development and infrastructure, experience of large-scale enterprise software design & development
• have previous work experience in Risk IT in a large Financial Institution. Excellent functional knowledge of Market/Credit/Firmwide Risk across Investment Banking, Private banking, and Wealth Management divisions
• have financial services IT background working on Scenarios and scenarios models infrastructure, and stress testing
• hands-on experience in Cloud Migration, migrating applications from on-premises to cloud, reorchestration and refactoring applications, migration of databases (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL) & good understanding around infrastructure scaling, load balancers, Networking etc
• experience in developing event driven micro services using J2EE Spring Boot and Azure cloud native services such as Azure functions
• experience with IaaC (ARM Templates, terraform etc.) and manage overall cloud administration, operations along with cost optimization
• experience with Continuous Integration environments, Agile and DevOps principles, automated unit testing and tools used to support CI and release management
