We are looking for a dynamic and experienced SME for the IS Retail Domain in SAP and other Applications. The SME should be strategic leader, responsible for the overall management, delivery, and support of the organization's IT application Business portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing a diverse portfolio of enterprise and business niche applications, ensuring seamless integration, high availability, and optimal performance to support business objectives. Job Details - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the IT application strategy on the Retail business aligned with business objectives.
Ensure alignment of IT applications with business processes and KPIs in SAP IS Retail.
Manage and optimize the application portfolio to maximize ROI with the support of SAP S4HANA and Retail.
Enterprise Applications Management:
Oversee the implementation, Enhancements, Service Transitions, Upgrade, migration, maintenance, and optimization of SAP S4HANA versions.
Managing multiple companies and plants Retail businesses in S4HANA.
Core SAP IS Retail excellent knowledge in SD and MM
Integration with FICO and MM module knowledge
Procurement, inventory management, B2B, B2C, POS integrations, demand forecasting, inter & intra company transfers and warehouse
Retail pricing, promotions, Gifts, E-vouchers, E-cash, various discounts and offers
Retail controls - POS Level, system Level and transaction level
Credit Management, FSCM & consignment
Extend SAP standard features to support requirements through SAP enhancement and extensibility framework, utilising user exits, implicit enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, iDoc, data, etc
Automation with SAP HANA BTP and CPI
Automation of the processes to reduce the business processes effectively
Business Niche Applications Management:
Good exposure on Fiori Apps and Analytical solutions in SAP IS Retail modules
Knowledge on IS Retail advance topics like MAP, OTB, Demand forecasting, Markup management, Rebate Management, Shipment costing & HANA API integrations
Integration with Ecommerce, EFT, payment APPS, Payment machines etc.,
Knowledge on Customer services and customer journey
Service Delivery:
Knowledge on Project Management methodology and Tools - Activate methodology
Ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services to end-users.
Establish and maintain IT service management processes and SLAs.
Manage incident and problem resolution processes.
Optimize service delivery through automation and self-service capabilities.
Handhold the juniors and groom them on the latest technology
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
Manage relationships with vendors to get the best practice solutions and business needs either thru standard or customized with minimum efforts
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure IT applications meet their needs.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in IT applications.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT services.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A relevant certification (e.g., PMP, ITIL, SAP, Salesforce) is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT applications management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in managing application development and change management.
Strong knowledge of SAP S4HANA and integrations
Strong knowledge on SAP IS Retal modules and sub modules
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Ensure consistent delivery of quality work per established project life cycle, ensuring adherence to project governance
Establish close relationship and partnership with cross-functional and business stakeholders.
