Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced IT Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in IT recruitment, with a basic understanding of software development roles and requirements. This role will involve collaborating closely with our Software Development team to identify hiring needs, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and manage the onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with hiring managers to develop a comprehensive understanding of software development roles and team requirements.
• Utilise various channels (job boards, social media, networking, etc.) to source potential candidates. Employ creative recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
• Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit. Use behavioural interview techniques as appropriate.
• Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Ensure a smooth and efficient interview process.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback.
• Assist in negotiating and extending job offers, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Collaborate with HR and relevant departments to facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and emerging technologies to effectively recruit in a competitive market.
• Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate information.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in IT recruitment , preferably within a software development environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
