Job Description


The IT Recruiter will undertake the full life cycle of recruitment activities. This position will perform hands-on recruitment activities for the business, with a focus on OLR's Indian region, with assistance to other regions as needed. The IT Recruiter will work in close collaboration with the local Human Resources Team, as well as the wider global HR team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruit according to OLR's staffing plan
  • Partner with hiring managers to determine position requirements and provide insight and status updates with respect to the hiring process
  • Source, build, and maintain relationships with candidates, including cold calling/contacting and networking with select organizations
  • Conduct online recruitment including drafting advertisements and determining appropriate distribution channels and placement
  • Conduct and coordinate interviews
  • Update and manage the applicant tracking system
  • Operational recruitment activities including reference checking, salary negotiations, and preparation of offers
  • Source, build, and maintain relationships with independent contractors
  • Build relationships with local universities to fuel graduate and junior-level hires as applicable
  • Partner and manage external recruiters as needed to support staffing needs
  • Ensure corporate compliance with respect to interviewing and selection
  • Provide training as needed to hiring managers and senior staff members related to interviewing and fair selection processes
  • Manage and improve the various recruitment platforms such as the Careers Page on the OLR website, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Determine appropriate recruitment communications within the organization to provide staffing updates and insight into the various recruitment process
  • Create tools and strategies to efficiently move candidates through the process from initial contact to the employment offer
  • Liaise with the Human Resources team regarding visas required for candidates during the recruitment process to ensure they are authorized to work in the relevant region if successful
  • Assist in the creation and adherence to recruitment budgets
  • Undertake preparation activities for the employee onboarding of successful new hires, including requests to HR and IT for user setup and travel arrangements (when needed)
  • Assist the Human Resources team with the analysis and trending of compensation and benefits in the marketplace
Requirements

Essential skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment process (ideally in-house recruitment experience)
  • Professional approach when dealing with internal and external customers, including clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to make recommendations and provide effective solutions
  • A high degree of initiative, accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
  • Maintain a positive attitude under stressful circumstances
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change in a complex global organization
  • Maintain confidentiality when dealing with information
  • Follow through on tasks and complete them in a timely manner
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues
  • Independently manage workload and complete multiple tasks concurrently
  • Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Valued but not required skills and experience:
  • Recruitment experience with a multi-national company
  • Mass hiring experience
  • Previous technical recruitment experience within the IT industry
  • Previous Oracle Retail recruitment experience
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in business, Human Resources, or related
