Summary:We are hiring for IT Quality Assurance Test Lead to join our team in Gurgaon/Bangalore.You Will Make an Impact By:
Provide guidance on and participate in software development activities including design and code reviews, requirements reviews, bug tracking and prioritization/severity, functional specifications, product design documents, defined acceptance criteria, test plans, test cases, and other documentation as required and provide timely feedback
Support BSAs and development teams on the validation of IT software/tools - both application and infrastructure
Collaborate with BSAs ,developers, scrum master and project manager to execute on delivering solutions to improve business and customer experiences and optimize testing schedules
Mentor and develop other QA team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge
Demonstrate a collaborative attitude and a strong desire to strive for testing standards and efficiencies
Manage numerous and concurrent QA initiatives for large initiatives, including test planning, test execution, and bug tracking
Influence documentation BSAs to comply with functional and non-functional requirements, compliance requirements and industry best practices
Establish and maintain software quality assurance test strategy/test plans, test summary, test cases, testing status and bug status, entrance and exit criteria from the testing phases, and controls
Work closely with the BSAs and Development teams to identify SDLC improvements
Influence IT Product Delivery Owners on the requirements Definition of Done and software design, documentation, verification, and validation of requirements
Oversee and influence BSAs and Development teams of test entrance and exit criteria to meet needs of testing completed
Participate in product design reviews. Creating and executing test plans, test designs and test cases and generating test status and bug reports for them
Act as QA Test Lead for large initiatives
Creating and updating Requirements Traceability between requirements and tests cases for overall test coverage
Work with the scrum master, project managers and product owners to prioritize, size or deprioritize the backlog during sprint planning meetings
Skills You Bring:
5 years of hands experience in software/IT quality experience in a fast-paced environment, working through all phases of the software development life cycle with focus on Front and back-office applications web-based applications. (e.g. Oracle, SAP, ISVs such as Thomson Reuters, Treasury Management, Infrastructure upgrades, Integrations, etc.)
3 to 5 years of automation testing experience - defining, building, and overseeing the implementation of a proven automation test strategy
Experience creating thoroughly documented test strategy/test plans, test scenarios and test cases and executing upon them
Ability to write SQL code and understanding of relational databases
Experience collaborating with project managers, developers, and business systems analysts to ensure quality throughout a project release cycle
Must be willing and able to change direction during a project release as requirements and priorities change
Work in a high-energy, fast-paced, collaborative environment and be self-motivated and passionate about QA
Demonstrate a collaborative attitude and a strong desire to strive for testing standards and efficiencies
Proven experience in working with both with Kanban and/or Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
Experience in testing integrating Oracle EBS, SAP, etc.
Hands on experience managing bug reporting and test execution status tracking, within testing tools such as Jira, Test Rail, ALM, Azure DevOps, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
B.Tech/BCA/ Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
Software Quality Assurance Certifications a plus
Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ITSM tool is a plus
