Position Title:[[IT Project Manager]]JOB DESCRIPTION
Work as the Project Manager for various key workstreams running for the GDTC set up. Develop overall execution plan & ensure the roles and responsibilities, deliverables, and schedules-- clearly communicate to the team members and customers.
Manage development phases of the project, i.e. plan, assign and track progress of development.
Maintain excellent client relationship with the internal/ external stakeholders
Conform to best-practice Project Management processes and documentation.
Prioritizes tasks and coordinates resources on assigned projects.
Troubleshoots and resolves complex issues.
Document user requirements.
Schedules projects and ensures they are completed within budget, on time, and according to internal and/or external customer satisfaction.
Prepare project status report for management and customers.
Ensures effective client management processes are followed (eg: regular meetings, project updates) and manages user\'s expectations.
Participates in Steering Committee meetings and decisions.
Establishes the project resource assignments and ensures that the project is properly managed and staffed.
Should have closely worked with Finance team to manage the financials of projects.
Should have vast experience in Staffing and Resource management.
Incident/Problem Management is good to have.
Should have worked closely with HR on managing the resource issues/challenges.
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent written and oral English communication skills
Excellent inter-personal relationship skills
Good analytical thinking
Self-motivated and quick learner
Able to motivate project team.
At least 5 years\' experience in IT Project Management
At least 8-10 years\' experience in Resource Management
Strong client-facing skills
Organized and meticulous, able to write and good in reporting/ analytics presentations
Enjoy constant learning and working with new technologies
Travelling may be required
