About The Job We are currently seeking an IT Production Application & Infrastructure Engineer / Release Engineer , reporting directly to Manager to join our team based in Noida. Main Accountabilities Defining operating procedures Participate in the study and analysis of business requirements for operating system, and other application required components. Perform the analysis of exploitability constraints. Ensure and optimize production\'s industrialization. Define the procedures and communicate release best practices. Define and implement standardization, automation and production security tools. Set up and communicate indicators (performance, cost, time), standards (ITIL) and operating procedures. Maintain operational conditions by ensuring compliance with standards and performance criteria. Participate in the definition of Disaster Recovery Plan Ensure a technological surveillance on production methods and tools Technical application release integration Define release plans Engage and coordinate technical and operational teams to ensure successful changes and releases. Install selected software and hardware Define the tasks of servitude: backup, monitoring, scheduling. Plan and implement scripted automations whenever possible Deploy and migrate application servers. Integrate new applications within existing operating ecosystem. Ensure implementation of a correction or update of a software or hardware component after its validation in pre-production (RUN). Set up a test program for new installations. Provide real-time monitoring of systems and applications. Analyze and resolve operational incidents, make restitution or rollback and ensure maintenance operations. Manage relationships with providers and contractors Application\'s owner support Provide technical support to application managers (2nd and 3rd level). Intervene under time constraints during operational incidents (incident analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of incidents). Anticipate users\' needs and system\'s evolution. Analysis of Technical reports Contribute on procedures and validation\'s definition and improvement Establish technical documentation and procedures Ensure the continued effectiveness of the systems Track Operational incidents, analyze their causes and take corrective actions Qualification Bachelor degree in IT / BS / M. Sc of Computer Science or relevant Typical Background Experience on Oracle Hyperion Proven Linux OS and application management. 5 years of experience in IT. Strong knowledge of ITIL and good practices in a production environment (ITIL Certified) Experience in project management. Infrastructure knowledge (compute, storage, networking) Infrastructure delivery (virtualization, on-prem, cloud) Storage protocols Experience in application\'s architecture, file standards, automation scripts (shell, powershell), Experience in web servers (IIS, Apache), Middleware (Tomcat, Oracle-Weblogic), SSL-Certificates and inter-application interfaces management Knowledge of operating systems (Linux / Windows) and associated databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MariaDB, PostgreSQL) Knowledge of the technical, functional and organizational architecture of the IT Solutions Knowledge of methods, standards and development tools (DEVOPS / CI-CD) Control of safety standards and procedures Experience in deployment of major systems Knowledge in Highly Available solutions/architectures (application specific or OS based clusters) and load balancers Knowledge on supervision engines (SolarWinds preferred) Professional Aptitudes Availability to cope with workloads or exceptional situations Cold blood and responsiveness to deal with incidents Rigor to apply (or sometimes define) processes Good analytical skills to draw good conclusions from incident reports Good communication skills to foster relationships with other departments and to interact with application managers Good listening skills to take into account concerns and needs Pedagogical capacities to adapt a technical vocabulary to non-computer specialists
