As a Configure Pricing Quoting (CPQ) Product Owner, you are a key member of Motorola Solutions' IT Global Sales team building next generation sales quoting experiences on our global CPQ platforms. As a key member of the project team who acts as a bridge between the business stakeholders and the technical team. The Product Owner is responsible for defining the vision of the CPQ system, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring that the development team delivers value to the business through the Oracle CPQ platform. You will work with a talented IT team to implement requirements and provide development solutions for our corporate-wide Quoting Platform.


Responsibilities:

• Creating acceptance criteria: Establishing criteria for accepting user stories
• Managing the backlog: Creating and managing the backlog
• Supporting iteration planning: Helping with iteration planning
• executing demos: Assisting with demos to get feedback on agile deliverables
• Creating the delivery roadmap: Assisting with the creation of the delivery roadmap
• Managing timeline: Assisting with managing the timeline to hit incremental deliverables
• Communicating with stakeholders: Supporting the Delivery and Governance Team in communicating with stakeholders and managing expectations
• Program status reporting: Assisting with program status reporting
• Defining and implementing product solutions: Contributing to product strategy and managing the product backlog
• Providing guidance: Providing guidance related to product configurations
• Configuring Salesforce CPQ objects: Configuring Salesforce CPQ objects to meet stakeholders' specific needs
• Providing updates: Providing updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the product lifecycle


Desired Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in CPQ or related projects.
• Strong understanding of the Oracle CPQ platform and its capabilities.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable user stories.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities


Basic Requirements
-----------------------

• 5+ years of professional work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business preferred
• Experience with Oracle CPQ or other CPQ solutions.
• Knowledge of sales processes and experience working with sales teams.
• Experience with change management and driving adoption of new systems and processes.
