### Role description


Key Responsibilities:


• Design and implement network and security solutions using platforms like Juniper, Aruba and Fortinet technologies to meet the organization's needs.
• Identify and assess security risks and vulnerabilities in the network.
• Develop and maintain network and security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g. PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC2).
• Monitor and investigate security incidents and breaches.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on network and security best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest network and security trends and technologies.
• Provide support for the overall IT strategy and direction of the organization.
• Extend escalated support Juniper, Aruba and Fortinet network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and security appliances.


Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT network and security architecture.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies (e.g. routing, switching, network security etc).
• Strong understanding of security protocols and technologies (e.g. encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention).
• Experience with security compliance requirements (E.g. HIPAA, PCI-DSS) are desirable.
• Experience with Juniper, Aruba and Fortinet network and security tools.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Cisco/Juniper professional certifications, CISSP, CISM, or other network and security certifications are desirable.
