Position Title: IT Leader - Manufacturing Facility (Open)

Job Location: BCP Thiruvallur, India

Job Duties

• Provides direction to a team of business analysts, technical, and professional personnel involved in the design, development, purchase, implementation and/or support of digital solutions, strategic applications, and appropriate infrastructure.
• Incumbent will work closely with business partners to design and develop user and/or customer requirements, identify solutions, and understand manufacturing processes.
• Responsible for planning projects to satisfy requirements and assure wise use of available resources. Evaluates service requests and makes assignments based on available resources. Follows up to assure customer needs are being met in the areas of service, training and product development.
• Contributes to improvement in system efficiency, costs, and quality and works closely with IT Managers, other supervisors, Business Managers, Division Managers and customer management in selecting projects and keeping them informed of progress and major problems. Works closely with the system architects to explore alternatives and contributes to system evolution.
• Provides input to staffing decisions, counsels staff and may serve on special projects and committees. Participates in the objective setting and business planning process and assists with cost containment and improvement, efficient use of resources and customer satisfaction.
• The incumbent develops well-prepared action plans for the current year and has a clear sense of what needs to be achieved in the year to come. Limited travel may be required to make presentations and assure satisfactory operation of installed systems.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
Requires a BS degree in Computer Science, or Engineering related field, or the equivalent experience and/or education. * Requires 5-10 years direct experience with IT for Manufacturing Operations

• Have 3 years of experience in the industrial controls field or similar field. Preferred incumbent would have experience with Digital Manufacturing, IT Audit, networking, communications protocols, Modbus and native PLC protocols.
• Requires strong project management , communications, leadership and human relations skills.
