ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide local and remote IT helpdesk support to resolve issues related to desktop and laptop software, hardware and peripherals.
• Prepare laptop/desktop as per new registration tickets.
• Manage IT inventory
• Handle Hardware/network related issues and troubleshooting.
• Preventative maintenance of endpoints on regular basis.
• Provide Seniors with regular updates on common problems encountered and identify possible longer-term solutions/improvements to reduce future problems.
• Coordination with vendors for hardware warranty/replacement/repairing etc.
• Coordinate with courier service provider for dispatch and reverse pickup and maintain relevant records.
• Monitoring of server room temperature/humidity, visitor register and inward/outward registers.
• Support to HR and Admin related activities
SKILLS REQUIRED
• Diploma in computer engineering, Information Technology, or student of BSc/MSc-IT.
• Student of reputed Hardware and networking classes. E.g. Jetking, IIHT
• Written and verbal communication in English language.
• Ability to communicate and present ideas in user-friendly language to both technical and nontechnical clients and staff as needed.
• Must be able to resolve issues in short turnaround time.
