About Our Client

• The client is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company based in Ahmedabad with presence across multiple countries globally
• They are currently a multi-billion dollar company and have been in the business for close to 50 years

• Lead and manage the IT infrastructure team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies that align with business objectives.
• Manage and maintain On-premises data centers, Azure cloud, networking, and security systems, including servers, storage, network devices, firewalls, and other infrastructure components.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Identify and mitigate IT infrastructure risks and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement IT infrastructure policies, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor IT infrastructure performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Manage and ensure effectiveness of servers and ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations, such as ISO 20000, ISO 27001, and GDPR

The Successful Applicant

• At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including On-premise data centers, Azure cloud, networking, and security systems.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
• Experience in developing and implementing IT infrastructure strategies.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of On-premise data center infrastructure, Azure cloud, and virtualization technologies.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies, such as encryption, authentication, access control, and vulnerability management.
• Experience in managing IT infrastructure projects.
