Job Title: Senior IT Hardware and Network Specialist

Location: Surat, India

Introduction: Gurukrupa Export, a prominent diamond manufacturing company based in Surat, is seeking a Senior IT Hardware and Network Specialist to manage and optimize IT infrastructure across its multiple branches. This role requires expertise in configuring Sophos firewalls, maintaining security measures, and ensuring the efficient operation of servers, cameras, and networking components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain Sophos firewall systems across all Gurukrupa Export branches to ensure robust network security and compliance.
• Oversee server administration tasks, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software (Windows Server, Linux/Unix).
• Manage the setup, integration, and maintenance of camera systems for security and operational needs.
• Optimize network performance and reliability through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of networking equipment (routers, switches, VPNs, VLANs).
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures, including intrusion detection systems, antivirus solutions, and data protection protocols.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects and enhancements that support business operations and growth.
• Provide technical support and guidance to IT staff and end-users across all Gurukrupa Export branches.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Senior IT Specialist or Network Administrator, preferably in a multi-branch environment.
• Expertise in configuring and managing Sophos firewall systems for enterprise-level security.
• Strong knowledge of server administration (Windows Server, Linux/Unix), virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with IP camera systems, video surveillance technologies, and physical security measures.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, tools, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and branches.

Preferred Skills:

• Industry-specific knowledge or experience in diamond manufacturing or related domains.
• Relevant certifications is a plus - (e.g., Sophos Certified Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Security+).
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?360,000.00 - ?720,000.00 per year
