Join us as we revolutionize kidney care and other vital organ support.*Completion of the proposed separation of Kidney Care from Baxter into a standalone company (to be named Vantive) remains subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions.The Global Functional Analyst (FA) is responsible for defining and supporting the building of valuable, feasible, viable, and usable products and technical solutions that meet customer needs over lifecycle of the solution. The Analyst will define the product/solution roadmap for the scope area assigned. The FA works directly with business partners and Product Managers (PMs) to understand and communicate their needs. The FA will also work closely with Business Relationship Managers (BRMs), other IT stakeholders and SMEs from different areas to define how technology can enable business processes, drive business value and KPI improvement.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for to setting plans and goals for their product/solution/solution and for their teams, constantly communicating and building consensus to meet the established outcomes, with PMs and BRMs.Responsible for planning how the solution will be implemented to maximize the value of the product/solution.Work on a daily basis with user experience designers, visual designers, and software engineers to make strategic and tactical decisions about product/solution functionality, balancing appropriate tradeoffs between business goals, user goals, scalability/maintainability, time-to-market, and process efficiency.Accountable and sometimes responsible for prototypes, flow diagrams, use case documents, story maps, and mockups to help visualize and describe the feature of the product/solution.Identify potential technology options and complete IT cost assessments with support for IT architecture resources as needed.Capturing business and functional requirements and writing clear specifications to communicate them to the development teams.Define features and continuously force prioritization with the PM to identify the right initiatives to focus on and add to the product/solution roadmap to ensure there is a constant flow of value creation.Accountable for the delivery of features as prioritized by the PM with constant advisement on value versus effort and fit to the roadmap.Play a lead role in process governance with the goal to harmonize processes and the underlying system solution whenever possible.Innovate through research and prototyping and drive the development and adoption of next generation technologies and business practices.Work with the technical architects and engineers to define technical solutions and enablers in line with functional and non-functional requirements and the process flows defined.Integrate upcoming enabler work such as architecture, data privacy, security, regulatory and compliance into the backlog with the PM.Works with the team to agree on accepted story completion.Leverage survey results, interviews with users and data/analytics and insights to continuously improve and scale their product/solutions and employ solution strategies.Be a constant change champion for new ways of working.Participate in team demos and retrospectives.Report progress and status in terms of business and customer outcomes.Support internal change management teams and external marketing teams to drive adoption and deliver product/solutions to market.Gathering input from a variety of internal stakeholders, external resources including vendors.Managing projects through all of their phases and milestonesServe as primary contact to the business for systems.QualificationsBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree3-7 years\' experience in digital/technical product/solution ownership.Established commercial business acumen.Technical aptitude to convey and collaborate around the development of the desired functionality particularly with cloud applications.Prior experience or ability to learn technical development architecture and configuration principles.Strong understanding and working experience with Agile approach and culture.Understanding the SAFe (Agile at scale) approach is a plus.Skills in prototyping and rapid ideation/discovery.Ability to work with multiple geographies in a multicultural environment.Ability and maturity to manage senior level stakeholders globally.Experience in working in regulated environments (i.e. privacy/compliance)Design thinking awareness and prior usage strongly preferred.Prior experience with Finance, Medical Affairs and Corporate Website Business Processes and Technologies desired.Desired Characteristics:Proven analytical and problem resolution skills.Solid digital/technical skills foundation.Customer centric and empathetic.Objective/outcome driven.Proactive responsible individual, able to set own action plans.Ability to influence and build consensus with other IT teams and business.Excellent written and oral communications skills.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Reasonable AccommodationsBaxter is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities globally.
