Job Summary:
The Field Support Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance services for various systems and equipment. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing technical issues, as well as ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site technical support for installation, maintenance, and repair of hardware and software systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their technical issues and provide timely solutions.
• Provide training and guidance to customers on proper usage and maintenance of equipment.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain detailed records of service calls, including problem resolution and parts used.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on service activities, including any trends or recurring issues.
• Document and escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
• Work closely with other engineers and support staff to resolve technical issues and improve service quality.
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members to enhance overall technical proficiency.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all technical activities.
