Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Executive with experience in installing and maintaining CCTV systems, as well as handling tasks related to Point of Sale (POS) systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude towards managing IT infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities

CTV Installation and Maintenance:

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, including cameras, monitors, and recording devices.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot any issues with CCTV equipment.
• Ensure proper functionality and security of the CCTV network.
• Monitor CCTV system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize operation.

Point of Sale (POS) System Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain POS systems, including hardware and software components.
• Provide technical support for POS systems, addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular updates and backups for POS systems to ensure data integrity.
• Train staff on the use of POS systems and provide ongoing support as needed.

IT Support:

• Assist with the setup and maintenance of other IT equipment, such as computers, printers, and network devices.
• Provide technical support to staff for software and hardware-related issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the IT infrastructure.

Network Management:

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of the local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN).
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure stable and secure network operations.
• Perform routine network performance monitoring and optimization.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of IT equipment inventory and configurations.
• Document IT procedures and provide regular reports on system performance and issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in installing and maintaining CCTV systems.
• Hands-on experience with POS system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus.

Skills:

• Proficient in the installation and maintenance of CCTV and POS systems.
• Knowledge of network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of IT security practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proactive and able to work under minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?10,914.79 - ?25,000.00 per month

Day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
