Who We Are Looking For:

AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of IT Developer II. \xe2\x80\x93 Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS Developer, Industrial Cloud Solutions

We are one of the biggest agricultural manufacturers and our strategic goal is digitalization on corporate level. We are seeking an accomplished AWS cloud engineer to join us for large-scale projects in the cloud. A person with experience in cloud-based tech with a firm hold on cutting-edge technologies, platforms, and applications will be the ideal match. Extensive familiarity with cloud maintenance, excellent technology insight, and knowledge of cloud development management is the key to keep up-to-date with the latest requirements.

IT Development II. \xe2\x80\x93 Senior DevOps Engineer/AWS Developer, Industrial Cloud Solutions reports to IT Lead I. \xe2\x80\x93 Industrial Cloud, and is accountable for delivering complex business critical applications for Industrial Cloud Solutions, and other internal applications. This role applies the combined professional skills, domain knowledge and technical expertise so that, collaborate with a global team, provide solutions to support the corporate business.

What You Will Do:

• Deliver effective, scalable and reusable solutions for Industrial Cloud products
• Developing different AWS services, including Athena, Cloud/ElasticSearch, Firehose, Glue instance, and Lambda to build serverless applications
• Recognize the current application infrastructure and suggest new concepts to improve performance
• Examining and inspecting programs to track technical issues and come up with solution suggestions and/or recommendations.
• Cover the new implementations with unit tests and documentation
• Comfortable in working on tight timelines, when required, familiar with Agile methodologies.
• Install and configure environments and landscapes hosted in AWS
• Set up, configure and maintain deployment pipeline in GitHub Enterprise
• Adopt and manage automatic code quality tools (SonarCloud, Fortify)

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s/Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any relevant disciplines
• At least 3-5+ years of experience in planning, designing, developing, architecting, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms
• Understanding of core AWS services, uses, and AWS architecture best practices
• Hands-on experience in different domains, like database architecture, business intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, big data, etc.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Expertise in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, data scientists, subject matter experts, and developers
• Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in distributed systems
• Detailed working knowledge and understanding of application development methodology
• Able to communicate in English in a business environment
