The Business Sr. Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management support of business risk and control oversight and other large global strategic initiatives
• Management reporting of business intelligence and other key Investments initiatives
• Data Collection and evaluation
• Design and provide day-to-day support to management in the form of ad hoc analysis stretch assignments as needed
• Coordinating work streams that focus on data, technology, product initiatives
• Assembly, development and structuring of presentation decks
• Development and management of strategic solutions for a group under rapid development and offers exposure to senior management and positions the successful candidate for progression within the group or to a position inside one of other organizations depending on experience
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years relevant experience
• Required skills include project management, quantitative aptitude, and the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex business issues through concise presentation skills.
• Good interpersonal skills to oversee cross disciplinary work streams.
• Extensive project management and strategic analysis experience.
• Interest and experience in the financial services industry, in particular in the areas of technology and data mining.

Education:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s/University degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree preferred

Job Purpose: The IT Business Senior Analyst is responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team, Initial focus will be on delivering a set of projects that will drive improvement in our EMEA Finance Regulatory Reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• In this role you will act as a Technology Partner to Finance stakeholders to evolve and refine the technology agenda to support their business priorities.
• You will build strong working relationships with business and operational partners as well as multiple technology organizations within both a regional and global setting.
• You will leverage relevant industry knowledge and experience to partner with platform engineering teams to define sound technology capabilities that meet business objectives and are in-keeping with Citi Transformation programs
• Partner with Finance clients to validate regulatory requirements, Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and become SME in Finance Regulatory Reporting across multiple Jurisdictions/Countries
• Data analysis of financial information to design validations, controls and rule implementation
• Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements
• Responsible for presenting regular status updates on key projects to senior stakeholders, Participate in BRD, FRD preparation, support User Testing and provide Technology interface for new country, program implementation
• Support businesses for BAU issues and inform related partner teams
• Evaluate business risk and escalate critical issues to the senior management on time
• Partners with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals
• Provides direction and technical leadership; acts as technical resource in all phases of the development and implementation process.
• Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment; identifies and communicates risks and impacts; proposes risk mitigation options.
• Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of business analysis.

• \xef\x82\xb7 Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis
• \xef\x82\xb7 Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis

Required Knowledge / Experience

• 7+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a technology Business Analysis role partnering with stakeholders at all levels, across multiple geographies and functions, as well as demonstrated ability to build strong collaborative relationships that culminate in a delivery track record.
• You should have a passion for technology and be conversant with Industry direction, leading products and trends and a track record of having successfully delivered competitive advantage through technology services.
• Experience and/or understanding of Capital Markets, Financial Control or Financial Planning and Forecasting would be highly desirable as this is a key area of focus for our technology transformation.
• Experience and/or understanding of regulations is a plus.
• You will promote strong adherence to control and risk implementations as well as standards and process changes.
