The Member of the IT Business Applications team globally ensures that in his/her area of responsibility, applications and functionality are designed, built, implemented and maintained efficient and with highest quality along the requirements of Clariant business. The job holder has broad expertise in his/her application area. He/She oversees and evaluates new solutions, recommends implementation of required changes and drives for continuous improvements.

What will you be doing?

Application maintenance and project execution

• Provide application maintenance support globally and support application users on global level.
• Maximize the appropriate applications usage
• Support planning of developments and monitoring of project progress against targeted deliverables
• Contribute in project execution and project management of smaller global and regional CO projects
• Responsible to apply global standards, policies and guidelines

Ensure effective promotion of services and products

• Contribute to efficient communication among the team and the partners (Key-Users) globally
• Support concept and improvements of business process monitoring ensuring better usage of the application
• Development of training materials and support knowledge transfer within the team

Increase of efficiency

• Identify opportunities for improvement in business process areas
• Support application measurement, assessment and quality improvement
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement in IT methods and tools

People Management

• Participate in the performance management process
• Optimize own performance level by goal alignment with line manager and corresponding target reviews
• Ensure with continuous personnel development self-monitoring that the skill requirements are met

What do we expect?

Education:

• University degree in business or information technology or comparable expertise
• Language: English C1

Business experience:

• Deep process and development knowledge in the area of SAP module Controlling and ideally Consolidation and Finance
• General overview on implementation subjects and interdependencies
• Good knowledge overview of the general business processes

Additional Qualifications:

• Flexible, high level of self-motivation and good team working skills
• Good interpersonal, intercultural and communication skills
