Join us and let\'s get started. AECOM Information Technology is seeking a Business Analyst to support Time & Labor and Payroll applications and related reports and interfaces. The Business Analyst will work with IT, Payroll, and HR stakeholders to troubleshoot errors, determine solutions, and communicate effectively within the teams. The person in this role will predominantly support Oracle Time & Labor and Payroll systems interfaces, although support of other systems and associated interfaces may also be required as a part of the role. Responsibilities Assess and understand the issues and challenges of the customer\'s organization and data and how the supported application seeks to resolve those issues. Maintain a detailed understanding of how the applications are configured to meet customers\' business requirements. Support the accurate and timely movement of data to and from the supported systems including reporting, and interfaces. Develop a detailed understanding of time and labor configuration in our business and all processes that affect our systems, internal customers, and stakeholders. Troubleshoot errors, evaluate and provide proposed solutions. Ensure the successful delivery of support for Time and Labor and Payroll applications and interfaces. This includes but is not limited to monitoring and reporting ticket requests identifying and escalating where there are issues and delays facilitating the prioritization of backlogged requests where needed assessing the performance of delivered work. Independently or in collaboration with the Payroll/, HR / IT team, work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize minor and major enhancements, and projects. For minor and major enhancements: Define and document requirements for enhancements and submit documented requests for review, assignment, and completion. Work to ensure that requirements are well understood developed or configured successfully, and that the impact of any change is understood and communicated. Perform system configuration as required, including workflows and security set ups, creation of new Time Entry Rules, time calculation preferences and rules, functions, elements and mappings, fast formulas, Time Management Structures, and Policies, including earning policies, and other time and labor rules for calculating pay. Perform testing and documentation. Coordinate with AECOM technology team members to deploy changes to the production environment. Requirements/Qualifications Hands-on configuration experience in Oracle Time and Labor or a similar time and labor system is essential including workflows and security set ups, creation of new Time Entry Rules, time calculation preferences and rules, functions, elements and mappings, fast formulas, Time Management Structures, and Policies, including earning policies, and other time and labor rules for calculating pay. 2-5 years experience as a Business Analyst or related responsibilities, including working with complex systems and their interfaces. Experience designing and documenting business process workflows, business requirements documents, wireframes, and test cases is essential. Basic database and SQL skills including hands-on experience with writing custom queries is preferred, or capability and willingness to learn. Strong Excel skills. Experience in supporting payroll processes, systems, and interfaces is preferred. Experience in Workday HCM is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. Ability and appetite to learn new technologies.
