• Experience working in an inventory management role, preferably dealing with IT equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer applications.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow is desired
• Possess intellectual curiosity / a curiosity for how things work with a design mindset for making improvements
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Education

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in information technology or related field is preferred.

ResponsibilitiesThis position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, efficient in handling physical inventory, and capable of executing tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the IT asset lifecycle, from receiving and storage to distribution and disposal.

• Asset Lifecycle Management: Track and manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle, from procurement to disposal. This involves maintaining accurate records of assets, their status, location, and users.
• Inventory Management: Conduct regular audits and inventories of IT assets to ensure records are accurate and up-to-date. Identify and rectify discrepancies between physical inventories and recorded assets in the database.
• Procurement and Disposal: Assist in the procurement process of IT assets, including evaluating needs, selecting vendors, and negotiating contracts. Manage the disposal of obsolete or unneeded assets in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed reports and analyses on asset utilization, costs, lifecycle status, and compliance issues.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including IT, finance, and procurement, to ensure IT asset management goals are aligned with organizational objectives.

About the teamAn IT Asset Management Associate is a vital role focused on the physical and logistical aspects of managing IT assets within an organization.
