• Business/Solution Architect \xe2\x80\x93 define, maintain and extend functional product architecture for FIS\xe2\x80\x99 suite of Financial Services Applications.
• Application Architect \xe2\x80\x93 guide application development team through development process
• Ensure development is done right the first time and has an understanding of how products relate with other products and ensures interdependencies are in focus.
• Software Technology Architect \xe2\x80\x93 define and maintain architecture principles and standards for FIS application development based on FIS business requirements.
• Infrastructure Technology Architect \xe2\x80\x93 focus is primarily on disciplines of selection, operation and administration of \xe2\x80\x9ccommercial-off-the-shelf\xe2\x80\x9d (COTS) systems and system software that make up underlying operating environment in support of business processes.

What you will be doing:This position is for IT Architect for Global Transfer Agency Services team. You would be required to work with business stake holders, technical / product engineering teams, and senior management. You would be working in highly quality & client focused environment.

• Examining and defining current architecture systems.
• Designing scalable, high-performance architecture. Identify design flaws and system bottlenecks.
• Assisting the development team to review their design, code and give solutions to technically complex problems.
• Clear understanding of Azure cloud architecture, virtualization, Security, Networking and governance.
• Good understanding of Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Bringing new apps into the cloud environment to completion.
• Troubleshooting complex, high priority production issues.
• Work on technical design specifications as per FIS guidelines.
• Guide and mentor junior team members.
• Produce clean, efficient code when required based on specifications.
• Integrate software components and third-party programs.
• Verify and deploy programs and systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
• Recommend and execute performance and design improvements.
• Create technical documentation as required.

What you will need:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Post-graduate education desired.
• 15+ years of experience in Java, J2EE applications.
• 5+ years of experience working as technical architect OR senior technical lead.
• Proven work experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular / Type Script, Ansible, Jenkins.
• Regarded as an expert in Java full stack technologies.
• Good understanding of Cloud concepts, Microservices and DevOPS.
• Strong in OOPS concepts, DBMS Concepts, Design / Architecture abilities and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of how to design scalable, high-performance systems.
• Good understanding of secure design guidelines.
• Experience in using Agile / Lean practices and methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to contribute to multiple projects.
• Proactive, result driven approach and be able to work with business side stakeholders.
• Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts.
