Our innovative products and services, backed by our global dealer network, provide exceptional value that helps customers succeed.Position Title: IT Analyst Applications (SAP Data Engineer)Location: Bangalore, IndiaExperience: 10+ years of relevant experience in ITJob SummarySAP Data Engineer should be taking up the role of As-Built BOM Business Developer and should be responsible for creating facility specific data objects using Snowflake SQL logic and will be responsible for developing solutions and building logic by collaborating with multiple functional and technical teams. Need to be familiar with Caterpillar business process, system landscape, and iterative development processes.Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business & IT stakeholders and understand business requirements.
• Create solution design for the specific ERP/facility assigned within the program.
• Execute solution design against the requirements template to create a facility specific data model.
• Work with the business assigned subject matter expert to develop data sets to answer business questions about facility data elements.
• Work with the business assigned subject matter expert to validate the final data model.
• Should be able to provide architectural guidelines.

Required Skillsets:

• Should have 6+ years of experience within Manufacturing environment.
• Should have 3+ years of experience using Snow SQL within a Snowflake environment and expert in using the top 100 SQL and PL/SQL commands to accomplish data model requirements.
• Should have 5+ years of Manufacturing system experience in SAP modules/applications .
• Should have business knowledge understanding for concepts like BOM, inventory parts consumption, part number change and revision level, part hierarchy , connecting serialized product with serialized component from other facilities.
• HUGE plus to have Caterpillar Specific knowledge and working experience within EDS, Teamcenter, MAMM, MESA, QAD, IFS, Glovia, PEGI applications.
• Should have iterative problem solving within POC projects even without clear directions.
• Good experience in structuring data into hierarchical models.
• Good experience in translating technical questions into data owner and architecture escalation points.
• Understanding of agile principles and IT project management a nice to have.
• Existing Caterpillar experience is a HUGE plus.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, presentation, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and conceptualization skills.
• Work Timings - 1:00PM to 10:00PM IST (Approx.)
