Job Overview :

Ravishing Retreat Resort is seeking an experienced IT Administrator with expertise in IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) software and strong overall IT knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the resort's IT infrastructure, ensuring network security, and providing efficient technical support across the organization. Experience in the hotel industry is a plus, but we are primarily looking for someone with technical proficiency in IDS software and general IT management.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer and monitor the resort's IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network equipment.
• Implement and manage Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) to monitor and safeguard the resort's network from security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Ensure the security of all IT systems, including firewalls, antivirus software, and encryption protocols.
• Provide technical support for all resort employees, resolving software/hardware issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular system audits to identify security risks and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Manage backup systems, disaster recovery protocols, and data restoration procedures.
• Collaborate with the operations team to implement technology solutions that improve resort services and guest experience.
• Maintain networking equipment (routers, switches) and ensure stable connectivity across the resort.
• Train resort staff on best IT practices, security policies, and system usage.
• Provide technical expertise for resort software systems and platforms, including Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT security trends and IDS software developments.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar technical role.
• In-depth knowledge of IDS software and network security tools.
• Experience in managing network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and cloud technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot network issues.
• Experience with backup systems, disaster recovery, and data protection strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hotel industry experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to learning and keeping up with IT security trends.
