Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our organization's computer systems, ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the IT infrastructure. This includes managing hardware, software, and networks, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

Network Administration: Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Backup and Recovery: Perform regular backups and data recovery operations.

User Support: Provide technical support and training to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality.

Software Updates: Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.

Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and service records.

Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience must in system administration or a related role.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.

Experience with network management (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Knowledge with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

Knowledge of security practices and tools (antivirus, firewalls).

Experience with backup and recovery software and methodologies.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
